Better Feed Efficiency, Lower Cattle Emissions

Better Feed Efficiency, Lower Cattle Emissions

It is easy to frame milk and the environment as competing goals, but on a well-run dairy they often line up. A cow that converts forage efficiently produces more from the same ground and emits less along the way.

We breed for that efficiency and feed for it too, pairing high-quality forage with grazing that keeps the rumen working at its best. Every percentage point of improvement trims both cost and carbon.

Investing in feed efficiency is not a trade-off against the planet. Done right, it is one of the most effective things a dairy can do for it.
